So, Who Are Your All Time Favorite Inflation Artists and Why?

I never really see anywhere which artists people enjoy most in the inflation community. So, who's your favorite?

For me, if I had to pick an absolute favorite, it would be this guy :http://fmsu.deviantart.com/

Why?

He fits my preferred style the best. First and formost, female only art. Second, he incorperates hoses in the mouth quite well. Third, his drawings looks really accurate to the character he is portraying. Fourth, panty shows. (I'm a sucker for these, like literally most inflation art has to have a small panty shot for me to enjoy to it's fullest now). Also, Fmsu's art is not overly pornographic. It's sexual, but not completely naked or anything (I prefer tight clothing instead). My only complaint is that sometimes I don't recognize the subject he's drawing which isn't as great as when I do. But most of the time, it just works.

Runners up for me are:

Axel Rosered (his art is either incredibly drawn and unique, or just kind of bland...),

Maxedman (Absolutely great, I requested a Maka sequence from him and it was spot on with my request details. Sadly, he's removing a lot of his old art, save it fast)

Yer-keij-fer-cash (Really subject dependant, mostly like for his Incredibles work)

S.Sakurai (When it isn't furry related).

I'm really surprised saying this...runner up of runner ups, but Robot001 is definitely a hot and cold artist. Some comics, when he does something unique like the Borderlands expansion comic was nice, along with his first blueberry story. But a lot of the time he's doing a lot of super weird stuff...and a lot of Simpsons/Amy rose. So I'm hesitant with him, but enjoy his work too.

So that's my rambling, who are your favorite artists?

Mine would be Axel-Rosered, Maxedman, Snow-chanDa and MilkyBody. Also other less known artists like DNFnuma and sexyprincessNicky.

My favourite artist of the moment is Okayokayokok. Great style, deals with multiple styles of inflation and transformation and his comic series are great. He even does the odd male inflation too which is a bonus for me!

My favourite inflation artist: Myself

Tacky. Other than yourself, who would you name?

Since I only enjoy suit inflation then maybe Big Horse, even though I still enjoy my own art more than him.

But it's because I am very picky of what I like: Needs to be surprise, fast inflation, humiliation, and very stretchable rubbersuits.

"If you really want something properly done, do it yourself", and all that ;)

0pik-0ort does a little bit of everything, inflation and otherwise, and boy does she ever do it spectacularly. That painted style is freaking GORGEOUS.

I'm with you on that one - 0pik really describes the characters, the dynamics of the scene, the world around. I especially enjoy his borderline drawings - hinting that inflation is present in his world, but having none of it in the picture.

CattyN drawings match my preferences, if we speak of purely fetish pictures.

I also enjoy CV, Mary Popping, Mabo and most recently - Woot.

But I must say, every single painter has at least one fantastic drawing. I enjoyed a few pictures of Berry Duke for instance.

Thunder Dash

Blue

I stumbled upon his private gallery a looooooong time ago. He had so many great inflation pictures worth looking at, from dragons, to racoons to well known characters.

You can find him both on dA and fA.

Big Horse is the first name that springs to mind. He does more furry than human, but holy cow, he gets the hourglass shapes right. I always look at his uninflated ladies and go "how can it get better than that? She already looks pumped up." And then it gets better.

It's been awesome to watch Critical Volume evolve over the years. His coloring/shading has come a long way; his pieces look very professional, and I like his sense of curves.

Ylandra made me eat my words when I said "Nobody does anything good in Poser." That's how we met -- I got some samples in my email and immediately retracted my statement. I'd simply never seen anybody use Poser with skill or restraint until then. Really opened my eyes.

TLink always makes me smile. That cartoony style is always a joy.

For similar reasons, I like Sven's work very much because it is downright happy. His facial expressions sell the fun of the inflation for me.

And I'm really starting to dig GrayofPTA.

Big Horse... as Inflate123 stated, but also because his pieces are always whimsical. Everybody involved looks like they're either enjoying themselves or that their look of surprise could easily turn into a smirk.

Champagne Moon. Her original "Donna's New Look" piece with the winking babe with her hand on the airtank is still my all time favorite.

I myself am capable having studied art in school and learned the old fashioned way via actually drawing before computers, but as far as that goes I will pick Faridae of the D.A. http://faridae.deviantart.com/ whose work unfortunately right now is being blocked by D.A., but none the less Faridae is an exceptional tallent and is my choice for favorite inflation artist.

Off the top of my head and in no particular order.

"Doc Swell" - Shocked that he hasn't already been mentioned, I guess because he's pretty much inactive these days.  Berry Girl was a monumental game-changer in inflation/blueberry art and still holds up extremely well a decade later.

0pik-0ort - One of the finest modern artists in the genre, IMO.  The painted style comes across really well.

KidQuetzal - Lumped in with 0pik-0ort for the same reasons, but he is not afraid to go places that 0pik-0ort will not.

Critical Volume - Huge props to this guy for really taking his talent up a few notches over the years.

Sickstar - On the list pretty much just because of the faces he draws for his characters.  Many artists lack that talent.

I'm sure I'm forgetting several.

In no particular order of preference:

Axel Rosered.  His stuff usually looks so FUN.  I need to get around to hiring him.
Critical Volume:  Just so well done.
Big Horse:  His shapes are the shapes in my head.  Squooshy.

I'm also pretty fond of Shydude.  Some work is not to my tastes, but sometime he just nails a good one.

No disservice to anyone I didn't mention specifically.

Overall, there are quite a few pictures that I think are really well done, some of which I actually find quite a turn.

HOWEVER, the problem I have is they don't all come from one single artist-there are a about a handful of artists who are all responsible for my favourite pictures, and no one particular artist in general.
e.g there are a couple of pictures of divers with overinflated diving suits bobbing up to/on the surface, and yet more then one artist has drawn these pictures.

Berry-DukeAlt

i can't really pick a favorite. I'm into all sorts of styles and directions, simple or complex. That, or I might be easily impressed, but who knows? XD

Heartchan

Ya'll makin me wish I did more detailed inflation art instead of sketches = o= However the problem I have is trying not to bleed my fetish work with my non fetish work

Berry-DukeAlt

Same here XD I do sketches because paper and pencil is the most reliable and the first thing I can go to. I can do digital art very well too, but I barely get to use the computer.  But at the end of the day, I know I probably wont be recognized for what I do, so I just assume people who watch enjoy my work.

Just recently I've stumbled across a selection of cartoons by someone called GreyofthePTA, and he's created a cartoon character called Inflatabelle (who's a duck drawn in the style of a Disney character).
What I like is that, like Helia Melonowski, she's pretty much a custom designed character created purposefully for inflationists, and I must say the art work for her wearing her strechty yellow suit are really quite good. :)

There's even a short comic called Belle is a Blast, in which she is tricked by another character and is blown up quite large before drifting into the sky, where thanks to atmospheric pressure she swells up to a really HUGE size. :)

Although it's all in black and blue colouring it's quite good, and for those who having seen this character or theart work featuring her yet you might want to look her up online. :)

I don't know if you're counting writers, too, but AlecDeluxe would definitely be up there for me. I'm not much of a writer, but his influence is probably really obvious when I do write.
