My wife has no mechanical knowledge what so ever, vehicular, domestic or anything else !
I was wondering how many ways the good folk of BI.Org could come up with ways in which she would end up pumping herself up quite by accident.

Just don't do anything involving an air compressor, that can actually be extremely deadly. I'm an automotive technician and I have lost friends from accidents involving compressed air.
Well, if you want to try in real life and be safe: You could get her in a drysuit with a mailfunctioned valve, and then tell her she need to turn the airtank connected to her suit on full. That would be fun :D
