hi i was just wondering what happened to the bratz inflation scene being uploaded? i think it was maximillion who recorded it but there has been no word of it since. i'd really like to see it on the intrernet.

Warning: Other than it being a stupid show...I mean...ugh...anyhow...keep in mind that I only have a TV attenna and VCR when I recorded this. It's a bit fuzzy but more than enough to see it really well. Enjoy folks.

Heh, Second off, you're right, the clip's nothing really to write home about. the CG looks rather sketchy, like something I could do on my comp, and i love the image the're giveing to all the young girls. "You must be a size -1, and if you eat a burger, you'll get fat and explode" ah well, heh, It's good to have, at least to put in the archives :-D Thanks again Max!

And some people wonder where eating disorders come from in America. This is why I fear ever having a daughter. All the same I enjoyed the weiedness of this clip. Thanks Max.

Great work on grabbing that clip, Maximillian.
It's pretty cool, even though they did go the rather easy "growing ball with a head on it" route for most of it. The brief initial stages were far better done, but I image doing that effect on a large scale would have been too much work for a short scene in a kid's show.
As for the message it sends, I found it a bit disturbing as well. The popping itself isn't too bad, just a bang and a cloud of pink dust, but it does seem a bit over the top considering its context and intedend audience.
Stripped to the basics, we have our hero and villain (both very skinny women) duking it out. The hero forces the villain to eat at gunpoint with the express intent of making her fat. All it takes is one little bite, and the villain doesn't just get fat, she blows up like a balloon and explodes. And this is in a children's show targeted at young girls.
As Dragon6860 pointed out, the message is clear: You must be rail thin, and if you make even the slightest misstep you'll turn into a blimp and die. It seems that cartoons remain as insane as ever.

The show itself is horrible. I can't stand watching a minute of it...just imagine the torture of trying to get this episode, ya know? Anyhow.
I'm glad that you guys enjoy the clip. The beginning of the expansion was the best part in my opinion and you can hear like some sort of sloshing sound as she was growing.

can't say i'm impressed. Maybe it's my player but the sound was completely unsynchronized with the video, contained a long 2-3 minute fight scene leading UP to the expansion (which as mentioned above, is really painfull to watch) and the actuall inflation itself is really really really poorly done. Certainly not worth the 20mb it occupies on my harddrive. @_@
I dunno why but I was expecting seeing a 2-D cartoon, not this 3-D junk. Le sigh...

Appreciate the effort you went through to get this out. The clip was worth a download and will probably sit on my hard drive until the next time I'm wondering what expansion clip I haven't seen in awhile :)
