Haley nearly fell out of her chair when she heard the news. Micro Carbide Systems had introduced the first nanotech weight loss device, the same thing that she had been working on for rival company Integrated BioSystems. The past three years Haley had worked on the project with an elite staff of engineers, doctors, physicists, and nutritionists only to have the same project finished by MCS in less than a year. She smelled a rat.

"Good Lord, Jenkins! What happened?" Dr. Kent had just stepped into the lab and was alarmed by the condition of one of his lab rats. And rightly so. Dr. William Jenkins was supposed to be running another battery of tests, and it looked like one got out of hand. The lab assistants were scurrying around trying to make themselves useful. And getting only mixed results. Fortunately, Jenkins remained calm, which was surprising when one considered that, just a few feet away, was a rodent that had been inflated past four feet in diameter that had floated up to the ceiling.

"Yes! Finally done!" Sarah let out a long laugh. It was the last day of the semester, and she was going to celebrate. College had been tough, but now that the first part was over, she was going to get so wasted that she'd forget her own name. She let out another laugh. Sarah was tall, almost 5'11", and she had straight black hair and very green eyes. She was thin, not bony thin, but healthy. She had a few curves, but nothing to turn heads. Sometimes she was depressed that she didn't have more in the chest department, but today, she wasn't thinking about it at all.

Melody never felt like this before, at least, not in the waking world. She could feel herself grow and luxuriated in the knowledge that her power over men, already substantial and honed to a fine point, was about to be exponentially enhanced. The hiss of air slowed and stopped but the snug sensation of her chest, confined in the strong layers of clothing made her smile to herself. She would be unstoppable with breasts this size.

She was a woman who was used to getting what she wanted. She was rich, and she knew money could get you, eventually albeit, whatever you desired. Unfortunately, what she desired most had been unattainable, that is until now. Her husband, a talented plastic surgeon (actually an artiste -- he was an amazing sculptor of the human body) who had long catered to the extreme end of plastic surgery (Models, and strippers and the what-not who wanted only the very largest in implants, and similar type body-work) had come up with an ingenuous solution to the hazards of the silicon implant.

The nightclub crowd roared hysterically. Mondo, the illusionist and hypnotist was quickly becoming a big name act, and word of mouth was all the advertising he needed to pack a house. He wore a tuxedo, but offset its formal effect by wearing sneakers and letting his shirt-tails hang out. And Mondo's long hair made him look more like a beach bum than a stage performer.

What you’re about to read is an alternative ending to the movie “My Best Friend’s Wedding”. In case you don’t know the movie, just enjoy it as an inflation story, but if you do know the movie, here’s where the new ending begins… I’ve chosen to refer to the characters by the names of the actors because I’m sure we’d all love to see Julia Roberts and Cameron Diaz (especially Cameron, if you ask me) inflate and it sounds better to use their actual names.

A crisp Sunday morning in late fall. The large church and its white steeple tower above the rest of the quiet neighborhood. High above the ground, suspended in the steeple, the church bell tolls, drawing surrounding ears to its majestic clang.

Leslie's Blowup

Roger often referred to Leslie as a "living contradiction." She had an outlandishly outgoing and unabashed personality that was far too large for a woman who seemed so delicate and petite in every other way. Her bright, playful smile and twinkling blue eyes only served to add to her air of impishness. Her oversized attitude had been the second thing that had drawn Roger to her; he’d always had a thing for redheads.
