I'm not a big fan of male or suit inflation, but this was one of the earliest instances I can personally remember encountering inflation in media. Sports Illistrated for Kids had a comic called Buzz Beamer in it, in which the titular character was playing goalie in a hockey game. Instead of traditional pads, though, he had made a custom suit from plastic kiddie pools and was inflating it with a pump so he would completely block the goal. His friend questioned his methods and legality, then a different skater inadvertently skates over the hose.

10th Anniversary - Rain's Bubble Burst from Mortal Kombat 9

Ten years ago on this day, Rain's gameplay trailer for Mortal Kombat 9 debuted. This would also mark our first glimpse at his Bubble Burst fatality.

While it may seem paltry to recognize this milestone, I felt is was worth it. Given that there hasn't been an inflation fatality in Mortal Kombat for so long.

Considering Kitana didn't have her Kiss of Death in MK9, Rain pulled through at the eleventh hour. He was the last downloadable kombatant following Skarlet and Kenshi.

I may have missed it...my life hasn't quite reached dumpster fire level but there has been a lot IRL...anyway, I realized last night that the 1971 WWatCF would have been been released like 50 years ago. Looked it up and sure enough, it was on June 30, 1971 making it the 50th anniversary.

You've most likely heard of hatef*cking, but what about hateflation (or hate-inflation)?

I believe it was English show. It featured female super heroes taking on an indestructible female villian that they defeated because she had a peanut allergy and exploded. I hope that's enough information.
