What TV show or movie got you into body inflation.

Hey All,

So what got everyone into body inflation? Specifically was it seeing a certain TV show or movie?

For me, it was seeing Inspector Gadget inflate his coat up at the pull of his buttons. I wish he could keep it inflated all the time for once. haha.

Second to this, when I saw the movie McHales Navy (I think), seeing buddy accidentally overinflate his drysuit got me into the whole idea of drysuits inflating. As such, I've collected a few neorprene based suits that have considerable size and capacity.

Celestial-Bitrate (not verified)

I watched a lot of cartoons growing up and as such, the inflation gags in the classic Disney shorts "The Art of Self Defense" and "The Window Cleaners" were the earliest stepping stones for me.

Bubblez101

I second the first reply, it was inflation gags in cartoons that did it for me. I couldn't pinpoint anything specifically since my fetish spawned at such a young age, so its origins remain a mystery even to me.

All I know is that some point in the past, I decided that I wanted to blow up like a balloon after watching some cartoons and it's stuck since.

Yrrall_Dlok1

It was either the iconic WWATCH or Charmed (the episode where Paige's breasts expand)

Looney Toons, Tom and Jerry, Toon Disney, And the biggest was a sceen from all that (I think) where a gril can't breath (I think) So a fire fighter inflates her. Best line ever "You inflated me until I exploded"

Well, it's been fun

Yonder

Finally, I found someone else who appreciates the All That fire man inflation scene as much as I did! The best scene I've ever seen, it's Violet tier or better to me. The effect looks great, the dialogue, the actress looks a lot more like a young women...it is one of the only good hose to mouth female inflation scenes in existence. It is so underrated.

Funny how the second best hose to mouth inflation scene came from...All That again. Bless that show.

Dude, Where's My Car?

While the movie was almost unbearable comedy wise, the BE scene really influenced me. When my family got it on dvd, there were days when I was home alone I'd spend time rewinding and playing that scene over and over again. Secondly, the giantess scene maybe have sown the seeds to my liking for giantess, a kink that only recently sprouted for me.

Life is always a bit better once you pop a few buttons.

Inspector Gadget was my first exposure to body inflation.

Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory turned it into a fetish.

For me was Big Trouble in Little China, saw it when i was little and always stuck in my mind. Then saw others like Willy Wonka and Live and Let Die. Cartoons never really got it right in my mind. Weird i know.

Completely original answer incoming: Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Bet you couldn't have guessed that.

Oh this is a good one. For me, it was actually trying something personally and then developing the fetish from there, much like I'm developing a latex fetish from the inflatable suit I purchased.

There was a show I saw called Kenny Vs. Spenny, and its a show about two best friends competing against each other. Why? "Glory for the winner, humiliation for the loser" (whomever lost had to do a humiliation of the winners choice). Well, one of the episodes was called "who could blow the biggest fart" and in it the guys had measuring devices that would check their flatuence levels, and whovever had the highest after three days won. Well, on the second or third day, the one guy decided to try psyching him out by utilizing what he called the F.A.R.T. system (Flatual assisting rectal tubing), which involved blowing air into his butt.

(Here is a link if you want to see it: https://youtu.be/ZQdlFfSq1kw?t=14m21s

you can watch the guy lose his mind at around 15:51)

From there, curious to try it on my brother, I found I enjoyed it, and seeing by belly blow up like a balloon from all the air just did it in for me. I did find I had a fetish for inflation before, but I didnt really know it until this event.

(Not on here too often, replies might be slow.)

Nutbreaker has been posted here a dozen times, so here's another one, even older: http://mults.info/mults/?id=657

Inflation happens between 1:30 and 3:00

The text:
- who are you?
- I'm a bubble
- go away
- I can't, I'm stuck on your palm. Blow me off
(she blows, and blows, and BLOWS)
- careful, I'll catch cold! (sneezes)
- Don't laugh, or you'll pop!
- Me? Don't you know soap bubbles are made of the strongest matter in the world? Pop my bubble if I'm wrong! (laughs harder and harder until he pops)

And another scene is at the very end.

The text:
- hey, it's you again!
- of course it's me, didn't I tell you soap bubbles don't ever pop?
- but the fairy-tale is over! How can you talk with me?
- Fairy-tale ended for you, not for me, right? (laughs and pops again)

pballooned

Very neat! That's what I call a work artistically elevated. I like the look of the girl's puffed cheeks when she blows the bubble

Interesting thread. From what I heard, it's predominantly Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory that sparks the fetish, but there's definitely a wider variation of responses here.

I recall a few scenes in cartoons while growing up, but I hate to say (it's not that fun to be a norm on the curve :P) that it was probably WWatCf that planted such a seed in my head. As a child, when I'd watch the 70's film, I'd always feel strangely uncomfortable while watching the scene we all hold dear to us. I think that it was seeing the recent remake that they did during my adolescent years that sort of triggered something with me. Being a confused teen, I thought "Hey. It can't be a coincidence that I got a boner watching this. Time to investigate." And thus, I learned something new about myself. :P

Objection!

Berry-DukeAlt

Giant block of text incoming. I have many influences

As a kid, most inflation scenes I saw from cartoons didn't arouse me, but when I first saw Harry potter and the prisoner of Azkaban, I used to be afraid people I loved would inflate and fly away to the skies XD that movie changed my outlook on inflation, and I never saw it the same way. From there onto around 2007, the cartoon inflation scenes would remind me what happened to Aunt Marge, but rather than run, I kept watching.

Around 2007, I found many inflation clips on YouTube, and while most of them were not from actual shows or movies, I was getting more intrigued than afraid. I wanted to see more, so I found what I could.

Finally, a month after I found the YouTube content, my best friend invited me to his house so we would watch Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Back then, I never saw the original, or read the book, I didn't know what was coming. That violet blueberry scene converted my intrigue to arousal, and I don't think I've put it down since.

pfff... a good question. i rember a tv show what i saw back in the day i was a child ( i have seen it bevore the scene of willy wonka's movie)

it was a dutch show for kids (sadly i dont remember the name of the show). in the show was a pretty actress who played a young witch

in the story the witch had a spell to clean her house. a man who spied her ( i beleef it was a vacuum-cleaner salesman) wanted to know that spell for his own uses. so the man stole the witchcraft-book of the witch. wen he had stole the book a curse started to haunt the witch. she started to inflate. she knows this curse. she had to find back the book before she pops.

as a kid i find it just a show like all the others. but i can clearly remeber this story-line. and now i have a fetish for (female) inflation and popping.

And boom goes the inflatee

mosherballoon

This sounds interesting. Anymore detail on when the show was aired? Or possible names of the show?

i love to find this video back. but it was long ago, and i was a child. so it makes it really hard to remember the name of the show.

also the internet was not so much as use at that time in my country, so im not sur of i can find it on the internet. but have watched for it sometimes. as i find it back i meby can send a link in a messige.

i think the show was aired betwwen 2000-2005, and it was a dutch one.

And boom goes the inflatee

Try asking your friends if they saw this. Search for witch related shows in your language and see if you can find any leads.

Also, what kind of shape did the witch get?

I think my first glances at inflation were Inspector Gadget and the ending of Kirby's Dream Land. But I think what really got me into inflatable clothes were the scenes from Totally Spies...

MightyMike81

Thanks for the interesting responses! For a while I thought I was the only one who had some influence from the Gadget Coat.

One cartoon that comes to mind was Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. There's one episode that sticks out in my mind. The context was that all four were exposed to a substance (pearls IIRC), and I guess the exposure causes the guys to inflate up and float to the roof of the building they're in. Splinter comes to the rescue and undoes the effect.

And then of course...

For me it was Looney Toons "The Daffy Doc"...Daffy gets his head stuck in an iron lung, and then various parts of his body inflate and deflate.

Don't know what got me into it... I think I was into it before noticing it on any TV programme.

"The Magnetic Terror" episode from the old Godzilla cartoon.  Monster swells with magnetic energy till it's too strong for Godzilla to fight.  They trick it into taking in more than it can handle and KABOOM!!!

Not sure whether that caused it or just was the first time I felt it stir something in me.  Either way, that's the one.

blueboy951

Violet's scene from Willy Wonka always made me feel weird as a kid. Never knew it was a fetish until I watched the inflation scene in Leprechaun 3. Then I got my first laptop, and the rest is history.

pneumaticchick

I suspect I have talked about this in a thread like this before somewhere, so forgive me if anyone feels they are suddenly struck by deja vu. Like carnatic, I was already into it before any clear memory of noticing it on a tv programme, but these bits from shows really hit home in my early years, and lingered in the memory, and I could tell I was appreciating them from a slightly different way from the rest of my family:

The Benny Hill Show: Quite a few bits from here, like a girl sitting on a bike and when Benny tries to pump up one of the bike tyres her breasts inflate. Also I can recall a military girl getting a medal pinned on her large chest and it starting to deflate, and Benny Hill playing a schoolboy firing a catapult at a naked woman on stage covering herself with balloons...the balloons don't pop but the woman deflates..I'm sure there was more from his shows..

The Two Ronnies/ Six Dates With Barker: 'The Phantom Raspberry Blower of Old London Town' had a scene with a woman with huge breasts which burst in the chaotic aftermath of one of the Phantom's devastating raspberries! The story was originally a half-hour programme for 'Six Dates With Barker', then remade as a weekly serial on 'The Two Ronnies', so the scene was made twice. Those huge balloon breasts popping was a major thing for me when I was 5 (which is how old I was when I first saw it)

By The Sea: Another Two Ronnies related thing, this time a show done in a silent comedy style (there is sound, but the dialogue is all gibberish noises). At one point a woman on the beach is seen from the back trying to blow up an inflatable with her mouth (can't recall if it was a beachball or what it was right now), and as she puffs away she inflates..well, it cuts to a shot of Ronnie Barker looking at her, and when it cuts back to the woman they've replaced her with a bigger actress, you don't see her swell up...and then she goes of bang and is gone! I couldn't stop thinking about that for ages when I first saw it..again, I would have been very young, 6 or 7 I guess.

The Stanley Baxter Picture Show: There was a parody of 'The Good Old Days', which was a tv programme done in the style of the Music Hall theatre shows, and in this a woman (played by Stanley Baxter in drag...he played all the characters in his shows!) comes on to sing a song that goes 'Up In Our Balloon Girls', and as she does so first her breasts inflate like balloons, and then her bottom...which the compere of the show (also played by Baxter) prods with a stick, puncturing her, and it an animated version of her as deflating balloon is shown whizzing around above the stage.

All this kind of stuff helped lead me to becoming the girl I am now I think!

carnatic

I just looked up that By The Sea you mentioned, out of curiosity as I'd never heard of it before.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ObecBKkFkjc

Happens at 11:40, very low quality video and admittedly not much to see anyway, but certainly the idea of it is intriguing.

pneumaticchick

Yes, it isn't all that great to see now, even though it's an interesting idea...I saw it when I was very young, and it made a big impression and lingered in my brain, and improved in my memory to the extent that I imagined I saw her actually swelling up and bursting; it was nearly 20 years later when I saw the scene again, and the reality of it after all that time was quite disappointing, but I kinda love it again now just because of what a powerful effect it had on me when I was a child! I still see that my memory is a little confused as I always remember it being Ronnie Barker watching the woman blowing up, but it was Barbara New watching it happen. On rewatching it again from that youtube link I think that the way the woman just disappears with a bang is a really formative thing in my interests, it had a massive effect! I had dreams around tht time of bursting like a balloon, and still do :) Mind you, I'm reliably informed that one of the first pictures I ever drew was a scribbly thing I said was of a ball popping, and that was so long ago I don't even remember it myself, I must have been 3, or even younger, so it does seem to have been an interest that has always been with me!

Seeing that Stanley Baxter clip I mentioned again was interesting. I hadn't seen it since the early '80s, and it recently came out on DVD..pretty much how I remembered it in this case, though the animated deflation didn't look as good as I remembered. Oh, also I got the title wrong, it's from 'The Stanley Baxter Series' not 'The Stanley Baxter Picture Show'..I got confused as both series were included in the DVD.

pneumatic-one

Josie & the Pussy Cats in Outer Space [this clip in particular http://www.bodyinflation.org/node/30591?pid=4926] was when I knew it was inflation rather than just expansion that tripped my trigger.

Bubblez101

I can always remember a scene from a cartoon, though can't remember which one but might be Dexter's Laboratory, where a group of scuba diving... I think they looked like robotic ant men or something... were chasing the main characters through the water and one of the "ant men" gets his mask knocked off during an underwater scuffle. He begins to inflate, as if taking on the water, and slowly falls to the bottom of the water. It cuts back to that scene a few moments later showing reinforcement scuba divers cutting through the same section of water with the one who had his mask off still sitting at the bottom, still taking in water and much larger than before. I can't pinpoint whatever cartoon it was but it did intrigue me as a kid, and I even think there was a hissing sound effect to go with it even though he wasn't inflating with air. It may not have been Dexter's Laboratory but I do remember that the animation was very similar to it. Anyone else come across the scene I'm describing? It was definitely a Cartoon Network show but the more I think about it, the more I doubt it was actually Dexter's so may have been something entirely different.

Heliumfloater

For me, it was Willy Wonka that introduced me, but my particular favorite part of the fetish, the use of helium and floating, came more from cartoons, such as Looney Toons, some Disney, and Tom and Jerry. One I always looked for, as a kid, was Tom and Jerry's "Muscle beach", which had balloon stuffing and helium inflation with floating. Another was the episode of Josie and the Pussycats where Sebastian the cat sticks a tube from a helium tank done the back of Josie's clothing, blowiing her up and making her float away.

hfilled

For me, it was in the late 70s. I happened to see Wonder Woman and the Bond movie "Life and Let Die" the same night. In the movie, the Bad guy buys it when Bond forces a compressed gas pellet into his mouth, forcing him to inflate and explode; the WW show I saw that night had her in her Spandex swimsuit for the first time. Watching that made the transition from curiosity to full-on fetish.

pneumaticchick

Oh wow, yes, 'Live and Let Die', how could I have forgotten to list that one! I was astounded the first time I saw that, and only wished it had been a female baddie getting the gas pellet treatment, and also dreamt about having that happen to me :)

hfilled

With me, I was hoping Wonder Woman would give ME the gas-pellet treatment (hey, anything to get Linda Carter's hands on me). Was also hoping the inflation would 1) be slightly slower and 2) would end either with overinflation or her flying out of the water to ram into my belly, popping me.

The late 70s and early 80s seemed full of all sorts of expansion goodness in the form of bizarre cartoons and movie clips.

The first expansion scene I can recall seeing was actually the Frog & Ox clip from Sesame Street.  That one sparked a curiosity in me immediately and probably initiated my love of willful self-expansion.  Following that, the scenes with King Looney from Raggedy Ann & Andy were spectacular.  I'd never seen anyone blow up so large and do so totally on purpose.  I wanted to BE that dude after that so bad.  After seeing that, when anyone asked me as a kid what I'd wish for if I had three wishes, I'd always reply, "Blow up like a balloon, get as big as I want, and never pop."

Every expansion scene after that was icing on the cake for me growing up.

Other scenes I recall that hyped me up included Gonzo getting pumped up in Muppet Babies, Garfield eating enough lasagna to grow to the size of a building, and some plasma-based villain in Orbots expanding as he absorbed a nearby supernova (or something like that.)

beachball39

Same for me on the Frog and Ox scene from Sesame Street, my all-time favorite. It started me down the path to inflation. All other clips I've seen either animated or movie, haven't compared (although I still enjoy them, like the Raggedy Ann, and Garfield)

scubadude

There are three movie/TV scenes that really got me aroused about inflation when I was a kid.  One was a movie called "Bulldog Breed" in which a man was training to be an astronaut.  Part of his training involved going diving in a rubber diving suit.  However, he was not well trained and an equipment malfunction causes him to float up to the surface of the water as his suit is slowly inflating.  As he struggles, his suit blows up until it is totally huge like a big balloon.  There is a clip of this on YouTube.  The second movie was the original Disney movie "The Absent Minded Professor" (starring Fred McMurray).  The professor rigs up a scuba suit with some equipment that inflates the suit with "flubber" gas.  This equipment was to be worn by a football player and slightly inflated to allow him to float over the opposing team while carrying the ball.  The equipment malfunctions and the football player blows up in the rubber suit until he is a huge balloon.  The third scene (and my personal favorite) is episode #43 of Gilligan's Island called "Castaway Pictures Presents".  The clever professor rigs up some scuba diving equipment to help the Skipper and Gilligan recover a boat sunk in the lagoon.  The air line is routed through Gilligan's rubber diving suit.  During the dive, Gilligan suddenly floats up to the surface (you guess it... equipment malfunction) of the water as his suit blows up bigger and bigger and bigger (much to the professor's surprise).  The professor reaches out and pulls the hugely inflated Gilligan over to the raft.  That particular scene really got me horny and interested in rubber suit inflation, and it still does (I have Gilligan's Island on DVD).  In all three movie/TV scenes, the people struggle as their rubber suits are blowing up.  I have since purchased similar "smooth" rubber diving suits and blow them up from time to time while I am wearing them.  I love having other people blow me up.  I also put my diving suits on my friends/helpers and blow them up too.  It's really a lot of fun and it feels awesome!  Sometimes my friends and I blow up our rubber suits while diving in a public place like a pond or lake.  It always gets the attention of people who happen to be watching and gets a big laugh.  Sometimes people ask me if they can do it, and we let them.

That's the most wonderful thing you do! ^_^ Expanding the borders of the fetish by just sharing the fun part without it becoming intimate.

Regarding TV, there's two TV channels in the UK named literally

and

Carnatic once told about them.

I bet those colourful "summer pop", "watch pop", "more pop", "pop quiz" etc etc etc with complementary bright cheesy partying, balloons, bubbles, explosions, splashes and glitter of all sorts on both websites guarantee there will be audience for BI.org in the future.
