Any chance we can add an option for the site to send an e-mail when we get a private message? I would find this extremely useful and I don't imagine it would be that difficult to implement.

New message notification is now available. It's off by default. To enable it, go to My Account -> Edit. There will be a checkbox labeled "Receive email notification for incoming private messages". Check it, then click Save.

I thought I remembered it working at first, but I can't find any evidence of it. I tried turning the option off and on again, but it didn't seem to help. For what it's worth, I haven't had a problem receiving other e-mails from the site, such as password reset e-mails.
I'll look into it.
