So I've been lurking for over 5 years until today because I need help from the community. So I've made a home-made Violet bluebery scene re-enactment starring my hot 18-year-old Puerto Rican friend and I need help with after effects and possibly editing. The scene includes the golden ticket scene, a nice costume (That I failed to inflate properly_) -.-, Stuffing, and finally a giant bumper ball with the girl in it. I haven't gotten around to fitting a blanket around itto resemble clothing yet but I'll get to that tomorrow. My friend was in drama so the reactions aren't bad and she had fun with it. It's definitely a gem.

So I am asking if anyone in the community is willing to look at the files I have and see if they an do anything with them. I have some names in mind but I don't want to directly bother people for favors. Also I have like 5 other good looking, legal, latina girls who will end up doing this. It is very legit. I hope my first post goes far! ^.^

lol that is so random but yes, in the beginning when she shows off the ticket she does. She's chewing gum constantly and puffing her cheecks up by the end. I'm not gonna lie it's all pretty hot.

Well its a niche sub-genre for some of us ;) and I really hope you get the help you need, it sounds pretty awesome, but sadly I have no skills in digital editing D:

One more question, is the costume modeled after the original 70s movie or the '05 one? Or just something in general to match the look like a blue outfit?

Oh and I almost forgot! By aftr effects I mainly mean blue-ing her up, because I think paint on the face isvastly unattractive.

Hey there, luckily for you thats my day job! Haha if you need to see a showreel i can arrange that but obvioulsy must be kept very private.

I do grading as well, and although have never had to do an affect like this, I definately have the drive to figure it out :P

I use Final Cut Pro 7 and Colour 2.

What type of files are they?

Looks pretty sweet, but its kinda hard to tell if the costume is something that's suppossed to imply her buttons are stretching out and almost popping off? Because that's certainly my thing :D

I'm guessing VMan may need some digital effects, such as tinting skin blue, maybe some morphing. I think we corresponded briefly on another forum, but I can't be sure. (The other forum is down at the moment, so I can't check discussion threads or PMs.) We just have to be patient until he posts again. Like superheroes, most of us have boring, Clark Kent roles to play in real life.

I like how the girl puffes her cheeks in the second one, and the unusual, but interesting, suit she is wearing.

The suit in the first link is not very impressive, looks wrinkled. However, I think the acting can do a lot.

I didn't notice if the same girl is in all of these pictures, or are different ones, but all of them are pretty.

They are two different girls. Sorry about the inflation suit. It's just a spray painted pumpkin costume but yes the acting does help.

The videos tend to be about as long as the scene itself, about 2-3 minutes. The ball suit portions might stretch it out though. It sucks that every time I do this better ideas emerge and I feel like the last variant sucked. In actuality they're pretty good.

I'm sorry it's all taking so long but my camera broke so that complicated things. And also I'm sorry for not replying to the loads of PMs I got regarding this project. The contributer that I always dreamed of collaborating with is well collaborating with me so I'm gonna stick with him. I don't know if he wants his name attached to this project yet so I won't spill.

Anyway thanks for the interest! I'm working on getting other girls to join along! I'd upload teasers but truth is.... I'm just too lazy xD. Maybe if I got convinced enough and people wanted a certain girl.

I'm not gonna exaggerate but that was pretty fucking amazing! I really loved how into her character she was, and how playful she seemed with going along with it an everything. And as said before the fact that she blew a bubble was awesome! You have to keep that part in!

Quite an amazing tease if you ask me! I LOVED the bubble blown at the end and that she has the right personality. The only thing I wish was that she was wearing Violet's outfit from the movie :) Please be encouraged to post clips of your progress, even if it's not close to being finished.

So she wasn't even supposed to blow a bubble. I told her to say "I'm gonna make it big" as in foreshadowing and she took it as blowing a bubble. xD Apparently that really gets to some of you so I'm glad she did. And I made her wear something similar to Violet's costume in some clips but I don't think they'll make the final cut.

Yeah what pballooned said. In undertaking this project I've been more amazed by the sheer brilliance and effort this sort of thing takes. I've gotten a pride, a joy from it all. I see this more as an actual film project at this point than cannon fodder. That's all I have to say about that.

So I feel guilty about the fact that I just leave yall hanging all the time. I just realized that this topic has the most views on the first page of the forum O.O Sorry about things going slow it's just life has caught up to me and everytime I think I've got it right some new better idea comes up which makes the previous one look like shit. I've been lazy too. I finally learned how to make an inflatable suit with a trashbag. Unfortunately this new effect will require more investment in the form of a good Violet-esque Costume -.- I'm also looking into buying Squeak Latex's Blueberry Ball suit but unless the scratch off gods bless me I can't get it til September.
I have been slow to reply to my corresponding partner since I haven't even sent him video yet Dx gosh I'm stupid sorry guys. I'm just gonna announce it, I'm working with KlaeResource. I saw Immediatley Means now and many other amazing things and I knew I HAD to work with him. As some form of repent I'm gonna upload the last remaining quality photos I have of what have now unfortunately become my "test runs". -.-

Don't buy any of this "lazy" excuse. VManMagic is doing all the hard work for this project. I told him that almost anything can be done with digital effects, but the results always look better with good source material. Taking my comments to heart, he's working to insure that the source video will be good. I'm excited to be a part of this project.
