Posts in such topics tend to spend all of their time on the Who without touching on the interesting bit: Why? BlankSlate does have a point; without discussion of inflation, this conversation turns into a rehash of the various "Hot 100" lists.

By the way, am I the only one who's often confuzzled by Maxim's selections in their Hot 100 list? Maybe I'm just missing the point of these.

Back on point: What is it about these women that makes them particularly inflatable, aside from just being hot?

I have to second Inflate123's choice of Christina Hendricks. On top of being beautiful, she has a ridiculously curvaceous body. It's like somewhere out there, there's a dial that sets voluptuousness and hers got turned up to 11. It's just far too easy for me to imagine what might happen if I turned it up to 12, or 20, or 50.

Note that the above scenario works equally well for Kim Kardashian, who would be my second choice.

And if I may throw out a third (and I'm pretty sure I may, it's not like anyone can stop me), I'll add Olivia Munn to the list. Her reaction to the Balloon Torture Chamber was simply priceless. Watching her actually become the balloon would be truly epic.

It's a long-standing truth that, in magazines, lists sell issues. "I would not have rated her higher than her" is exactly what the publishers are expecting you to say...to everyone you know. :)

This goes for the animated characters too, but for me, it's a matter of taking what's already there and making it moreso. I rarely find myself attracted to waifish celebrities -- if there's nothing there to start with, I'm less likely to think about them being inflated. So aside from personal subjective opinion ("I think she's hot"), I do tend to want to exaggerate the existing features ("I think those curves are a good start...let's keep going"). So I think we're coming from the same place on this one.

I also agree with you on Kim Kardashian. She's another person with a striking, curvy figure, and every time I see her, I think "Okay, what would 'stage two' look like?"

Although we're talking about real women, I think we're still in the realm of fantasy. Most of the inflation stories and images don't go into the dark detail you describe, and that certainly wasn't on my mind when I spoke up. For me, it's not about what would really happen; I don't feel saddled by that. There's definitely a suspension of disbelief that comes with this fetish.

I'd also like to see Nicole Scherzinger from the Pussycat Dolls, and Paris Hilton as Amber Sweet from Repo! being inflated.

I've always had a crush on fitness guru Kathy Smith. Who uses a Flex-a-ball to ride on to keep her sexy shape. But to see Ms. Smith fully inflated like a fitness ball would be a dream come true for me.

I hate to be something of a party-pooper on this one, but I personally have my reservations about involving celebrities in these fantasies.

It’s not that I don’t think it’s wrong (everybody has their likes and dislikes), but I think that it’s just down to the fact that they’re REAL PEOPLE rather just make-believe characters in a story.

It’s like this thing about morphing. I’ve heard (and even seen) that there is an online trend towards creating fake pictures of famous celebrities by altering them and placing them in sexual images.

And to be honest I not really fond of this, because although there is an obvious interest in this I always feel that it’s slightly undignified towards them, and although I’ve never met them a part of me feels that it kinda tarnishes their dignity and reputation somewhat.

I’ve seen some photos done like this, and although they are fake it often means that afterwards I cannot look at a photo of them in a newspaper or on TV in the same way again.

I must admit though that there are some women out there really kinda attract me, and right now I can think of about four woman who I admit I do have a crush on.

But at the same time, in my mind I tend to keep them away from my inflation interests/fantasies has well-to me, I think of them has being two separate things which never really ‘cross over’ into each other. That’s why, when I think about them, the idea of inflating them doesn’t’t really occur to me in that sense.

In fact, I’ll go as far as to say that there are six things that turn me on (body inflation and-to a certain extent-inflation clothing being two of them), but when I think about them they always come across as being separate things.

Like I said, I DONT want anyone to think that I was criticising them or saying that it‘s wrong-each of us is entitled to our own personal likes and dislikes, and this is just my personal take on the thing.

I dont know who is gona win, and who we can sweep up at the end. But it will be a great show to watch!
