do you think it is ok?

i am a member of a topic related website since several years and pay month for month.
the update routine of this website is not the fastest.
i am not sure if i should cancel the membership or not. (the videos are very very good!! and i will not realy cancel membership).

my question is: do you think it is fair to the members, to cash them for updates who are made only every several month.

my recommendation is that you unsubscribe and then only subscribe when there are enough videos to make it worth your while. I have a friend who onlt subscribes to a certain website every few months and that serves him well.

Yes, this trick does work...when the site works that is. :|

I cancel magazine subscriptions when I no longer feel I'm getting my money's worth. I wouldn't pay for Netflix if I didn't keep getting movies on a regular basis. Seems pretty simple to me: No content, no cash.

Yeah what I123 said... don't feel guilty about cancelling. You are paying for a service and not recieving anything in return, to the natural reaction should be to stop paying for it.

If you paid someone to paint your house and then got a phone call from them saying 'no I'm not gonna paint your house, but I'm not gonna give you your money back anyway, give me some more money and I might paint your house next month but I can't promise anything' would you give them more money?

And there's nothing to say you can't rejoin if and when things change. I have resubscribed to magazines, for instance. :)
