The Other Inflation Arcade Game

We're pretty much all familiar with Dig-Dug.

But what about the other, uncommon arcade game based on inflation, Diet Go-Go?

I found a website with some screen captures and a few videos of it.

And one about an emulator version of it!

Vertigo

Interesting. That actually looks like a decent game too.

I clicked on the name of the site for the emulator but it just took me to a blank page...

Try this one.

I'm pretty sure I have this on my MAME cabinet and hadn't realized it.

That's right, it's just an information page. KLOV is a great resource for finding out about older games, when they came out, what the controls are supposed to be, etc.

If you're looking for emulators, go for MAME. Diet Go Go is supported.

Is it ok to post links to roms and emus on this forum? Because if it is I can tell you where to get them.

Er, since when? All the times I've tried to run Diet Go Go on MAME, it always said the game wasn't supported...

If you would be able to provide links to an working emulator that runs Diet Go-Go then I dont think anyone should have a problem with that...

Says here on MAWS that it was added some time ago, around .084, and overhauled for .095. Are your ROMs in need of an audit/update? Changes to MAME drivers "broke" a ton of my stuff once--games that I knew were emulated fine in a previous build--and I had to screw around with ClrMamePro to get them all working again. But in fairness I have not gone to check if the version I'm currently running (106) works with Diet Go Go yet.

Deven, it's kind of a drag that your two recent posts have been "can someone post Bambi's content for free" and "can someone post links to an emulator." It does not take much effort to seek out the ROMs and emulators in question. I'm using good old Google to get this info so that nobody who runs the board to risk the legal problems of playing middleman for "download this ROM here" etc.

Consider this: Google searches take a few minutes if you really scour the results. Meanwhile, based on the timestamps of your posts, you've waited over 24 hours for someone to hand you the info instead of just going out and finding it.

In other words, you're already asking for illegal freebies...can't you at least take the responsibility of looking for them yourself?
