I don't know if this sort of thing has been asked before, but does anyone know if there are any self-hypnosis audio-files out there that deal with body inflation (specifically inflation with air, as opposed to other things). I know it sounds strange, but I'm asking because one of my friends mentioned in an MSN conversation that he'd heard of them. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find any.

Does anyone know if these things exist, and if so, where I might be able to get a hold of them, or am I on a wild goose chase here?

If he isnt, who the hell would think up self hypnosis body inflation? I dont even understand what its supposed to be? Get hypnotized to do an air enema on yourself?

I think what he's saying is that this self-hypo is to trick the brain into thinking that the person is inflating.

Or it could be dream methoids, you put it on when you're sleeping, and you dream about inflation. I've heard that can work very well, you have to work up to complex dream senarios, but I've heard it works. Not sure on HOW you do it, but I'm pretty sure it's possible.

If it does work, as others have shown it does and doesn't, I highly doubt it would be so simple to work on yourself.

subliminal messages while sleeping and hypnosis is really just a myth. There's so many quack-pot versions of the same thing all over the world. Le sigh. It won't work even if it WERE true.

Perhaps, but Lucid dreaming is real. That's basicaly when you're dreaming, but you know you're dreaming. Then you cna kinda control your dreams. It's hard to do, but it's possible.

hypnosis is true enough, just not the way you see it on stage where hypnotised people go into a little world of their own that can be controlled by the hypnotist... lucid dreaming, now that is true... and I think there are people looking in to ways to induce it.

Meh, all I know about hypnosis is that Derren Brown sure knows how to do it. Then again, he explains what he does and how it works instead of people who just do it without explanation.

How exactly is it a bunch of hooey, CattyN? How do the things that are achieved through hypnosis actually get done? It's most definitely not all actors and ruses, I know that.

I know about people into other fetishs that use hipnosis and tell it works. I think it is most used for animal or TG transformation scnarios. It works with a kind of special software.
I know nothin about BI and hipno softsares, but I think it can exist.

The thing about hypnotism is that you have to be in the right mindset for it, it only works when you "Go along" with it.

Who knows, it might be worth taking a crack at it.

I have actually had, in one old dream, have my mother walk up to me and say "[Dude], it's time to wake up for school." My dream implemented outside noises into the dream. So possibly if you set an alarm clock to play an inflating 'fwoosh' noise...
