Equatorial Africa, some years ago

“Are you all fine?” Sophie shouted in terror desperately trying to repress tears.

“Yes, even if a little bruised” Bianca said holding her aching leg sprouting from the torn up shorts.

With difficulty Therese, Tessa and Scarlet emerged too from the airplane wreckage, each one a bit hurt but safe.

They were flying on immense African skies to reach their respective families.

It was a windy day in fall. The perfect weather. Everything was prepared and one by one, the ladies arrived: Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Gwen Stefani, Jeanne Garofalo, Anastacia and Shakira. Each one of them was carrying a strange plastic suit in their hands…

After some visible hesitation, Sheila has made her mind.

- Phil, just, do me a favor, stop pursuing me. She said,

- You are good friend, cute boy, but,

- What but?

- You aren't my type, you see.

- And whats wrong?

- Some girls like skinny guys, I don't. Get some press and shoulders. Well, that doesn't matter, it would be better for us to remain friends.

At that point Phil had to say something, but he hadn't figured what exactly. Further discussion was about pets, bbq on weekend and other harmless things.

Wind rustled through the grass of the meadow, which shimmered in the bright sunlight of early afternoon. June was a lovely time of year in this part of the country. Joshua took a long breath of the fresh summer air as he stood in the middle of the meadow. From where he stood, he could see all the little trails and footpaths that wound through the meadow, joining other trails, some going past the little pond of bulrushes at the far corner of the field, all eventually leading back into the forest of oaks and bays and Douglas firs that made up most of the park.
