“Can you see inside?” Bridgette shouted.

Her legs began to shake under the weight of her friend. Katie stretched upwards as high as she could, but the height of the two girls was not enough to see inside the warehouse window.

“Nothing.” Katie said as she jumped down. “This is the oddest building. I’ve never seen it used before. It’s been here forever. I wonder what’s inside!”

Alice walked slowly down the brightly lit hallway. She wasn't exactly sure which room she was expected in, but at least she was early for her shift. Numerous doors lined the walls, various sounds resounding from each.

"Are you lost?" a passing aid asked.

"Umm...yes." Alice replied. "Would you happen to know where room 214 is?"

"Down the hall, to your left. Six doors down!" the aid answered.

"Thanks!" Alice said hesitantly. She was still very nervous for her first day on the job.

Kids screamed and laughed as they ran around the Timber Falls water park. In a big town with pretty much anything, the water park was the greatest amusement spot. It was huge. Water slides, log rides, a wading pool, lazy river, basketball pool, dumping bucket, and everything! A group of high school friends were spending a day of fun going down the giant speed slides.

The five friends were waiting in line for the tallest, fastest, and twistiest slide in the entire park. The line was extremely long, and they had been waiting almost thirteen minutes, not even near the top.

Bubblegum Staci

Staci skipped cheerfully down the sidewalk. It was a bright and sunny day out in San Francisco, and as she returned home from high school, she decided to take a small detour through the city's market place. Rows of buildings passed by as she happily made her way through the shops.

People smiled and waved at her as she walked by. Staci wouldn't consider herself popular, but she certainly was friendly to everyone who met her. She was that happy-go-lucky type who just wished to get along with everyone.
