Inflated delirium

I used to have a hypnosis fetish, which disappeared very early on, but I think it's left traces in this idea. A while back I mentioned here whether being inflated would make you "high" (mentally rather than physically!).  Increasingly now, I'm finding the idea of inflation that makes me somehow mentally out of it, delirious or, well, trippy really arousing. I can remember a comic strip where someone had to swallow a huge pile of spaghetti in one strand and she carried on until she exploded, and the frame before shows her looking kind of flushed and cross-eyed because she's so physically overwhelmed with being stuffed to bursting point with pasta.

I think part of the appeal is that it emphasised the sheer powerfulness of the inflation material. I've written a story which emphasised this aspect of being inflated from the inflatee's perspective but it's really long and handwritten, so it won't be appearing here.

Does anyone else relate?

I think I can get behind this.  I've been known to get a little light headed and giggly as I inflate.  Of course I usually think of it in terms of getting drunk rather than getting high, but I think the essence of impaired judgement is still the same here.

I self-expanded with water; given that doing so aroused me, I'm not sure if I would've called it 'giddy' so much as 'seeking a happy ending.'  I know I would've expanded myself more were I able to safely do so, so maybe that qualifies.

An interesting concept. I'll admit it does sound intriguing, though I cant say for certain whether or not I've personally felt those effects. The idea of someone being aroused to the point of insanity has long been a kink of mine, but I've never really seen it applied in an inflation setting. I for one would be very interested in seeing this played out somehow.

Fill 'er up!

I actually like this sort of idea quite a bit, although I'm more prone to envision it as the inflatee going into subspace (headspace) like in bondage scenes, rather than high as such.

Thanks klaeresource, that's kind of what I mean.  What it brought up for me, though, is how the grass is always greener on the other side.  I happen to be wearing a bodysuit right now but since I transitioned, that's just "meh".  It's basically just thermal underwear to me now.

Yes, Murkstorm, subspace is basically what I'm aiming at here and there's also a metaphorical component to it because the idea is that not just your body but also your mind is stretched out of proportion and occupied by the inflation.

But I think there's a misunderstanding here, though it's not clearly simply a misunderstanding because there's an element of truth too I think.  My main idea when I posted that up there ^^^ was that whether or not it would in fact send you somewhere peculiar mentally, the idea of being kind of turned into a dizzy, vacant goggle-eyed goon by being inflated appeals to me.  Picture the cartoon idea of someone "knocked silly", with birds flying round her head or little exploding stars.  That's what I meant.  It's kind of cartoony.

That said, and this may be wishful thinking, I do actually think you'd get kind of stoned.  There's the effect pressurised gas has on divers, the way people are influenced by BDSM, the rush of adrenalin and/or endorphins, the near-death experience, deprivation of oxygen and maybe some direct physical effect of pushing blood out of the torso into the head.  And it appeals to think of myself not only inflated but also with bulging cheeks, tongue and lips suffused with blood pushed into them by the air pressure inside me, eyes bulging and crossed by the same pressure, and also those other lips and organs between the legs swollen and hot from physical air pressure pushing blood into them.  It's just really, really...nice!

Oh, and somebody draw something, pretty please!

LVKane's "Stargazer" is another great example of this, I think.
