I've said it before and I'll say it again, Monster Musume. It's already fucking weird enough, And it's pretty kinky. And hey I mean, When one of the characters entire gimmick is water changing her body, There's obvious shitloads of potential.
I feel like Silverwing could have had that if the writing was better. It was somewhat original at it's time but suffered a bit from lacklustre writing. I certainly found it relatable as a kid.
