You mean on this site? I recommend doing it in private messages, or IM. You don't need to do anything special.

Drybones has the right of it, the two of you need to have a common instant message system, like YIM for example. Sign up, swap user id's and you're off to the races.
It's wicked easy. Think of it as writing a story with another person. Be descriptive, and spontaneous. While playing avoid having your character do nothing. Try to have them engaged in what's going on as much as possible.
Lastly respect your partners likes and dislikes. (And make sure they respect yours) if either of you aren't comfortable with something say so and be decent about it.
