Had this thought come to me a few times and began to think what if there is a girl or guy who shares the exact same tastes of inflation as you do? Might be a bit too idealistic of me to bring this up but we are receiving more people with similar interests on this community correct? Imagine on the person who gets thrilled just as much as you do, and shares everything in a mutual manner. Would you rather inflate or be inflated by that person (as part of the aspects from your ideal partner)? Why not both...willing or forced?

Think you're pretty lucky to have met that person, must be great to share something in common. I tried a chat room at deviantart just to look for a girl who is also interested to this ground, but always seems to be dead or just one or two people on board. Just glad to see that meeting such a person might actually happen.

Look, I hate to be That Guy, and I'm drunk as hell; but I told my girlfried about my fetish and she became my ideal partner. If I remember right, Airtankgirl herself was a convert from someone else who shared this fetish. I think you guys would be surprised by peoples' propensity for perversity; and the mass appeal expansion has. It's very easy to think you'll only find people intersted in this fetish online, on sites like this and Deviant Art where expansion material is being posted; but speaking from personal experience: In roughly 15 years of looking around sites, I've found maybe 2 reliable partners for rp or what have you. I have high standars for the internet, so sue me. In the meantime, I've told every real life girlfriend I've had about this fetish and never been dumped cold or humiliated. Now I have a girlfriend that I'm comitted to who *now* shares this fetish as well. If you're looking for an ideal partner... honesty is the best policy, and women don't use the internet. Lol. I agree wholeheartedly with Caffiene. While true, I did find my girlfriend-soon-fiance-soon-after-wifey on the internet, it was in a more ... let's just say "vanilla" chat area. We weren't even dating yet when I brought it up yet she immediately was very interested. Just go with your gut, it works really well sometimes.

Caffiene apparently has great powers or recall while toasted. I was, in fact, a convert. My boyfriend (then fiancee, then husband, now exhusband) introduced me to this and I rather obviously, fell for it entirely. He was a wholly perfect partner, real life and online :). Now I'm stuck with this silly fetish :).
As far an being online and RPing and such, I'm not sure about people's propensity for peversity, I just know what I like. There's a lot about expansion I dislike. There's a lot of misogynism, objectifying and outright sadism. On the other hand, there's either a lot of silly sexy fun, or on a foot, there are plenty of people that like things that I dislike.
I think there's enough people online that one shouldn't have to compromise "too" much. If you can't find someone, try the cold approach. My "perfect" RP partner just came up to me online and started talking. I very nearly didn't respond, because I get a lot of cold approaches, but it worked out very well.

I don't just want this to be just a me too post, but I agree with a lot of what was said.
I've told several women I've been with about my fetish, and shared my stories. None of them were fetishists, but they were open enough to read the stories. Some found them erotic. One even wrote one for me.
Lately, I've realized that what I really enjoy is when a story I write turns a woman on, so I have turned to trying to connect directly with fetishist women. I can also see the increasing specialization of stories and have realized that my fantasies are fairly narrowly defined (and I'm ok with that).
For me, scenarios generally have to involve pneumatic inflation, hourglass figures (or pleasingly described female shapes), pleasure for the inflatee (I don't like torture/pain), and finally an explosive orgasm (in a literal sense). There are exceptions, but they incorporate at least some of these elements.
So, I'm not really looking for 'me' in either a real life lover or a RP partner. I'm looking for a counterpart - a woman who's excited to be reading or be the focus of a story I write. And I don't expect an ideal. Just somebody who gets off on the slightly whimsical.

Considering my own context of life and state of mind, I would say the ideal partner would be the one who make me feel confident in my likes about inflation. Hard to convert someone when you are not deeply convinced yourself, I may say :)
I talk about my inflation likes to my girlfriend but it doesn't seem to ring any BIG bell, though she tries to get involved in the thing by sometimes whispering me sweet little inflation things. It only rings tiny little bells for the moment but I think I have to be patient with her. It's a brand new thing I harldy explain to her, making her apreciate it.
I'm kinda shy with the inflation thing and perfectionist, too much attached to details, often thinking "that's not her thing".

But, such exact duplication of interests isnt necessary. There a lot of other people out there that I enjoy talking to a great deal. But there does have to be at least some common ground.
