I don't know if this sort of thing has been asked before, but does anyone know if there are any self-hypnosis audio-files out there that deal with body inflation (specifically inflation with air, as opposed to other things). I know it sounds strange, but I'm asking because one of my friends mentioned in an MSN conversation that he'd heard of them. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find any.

Does anyone know if these things exist, and if so, where I might be able to get a hold of them, or am I on a wild goose chase here?

How come the soda and pop rocks trick hasn't made it into inflation stories or pics? I'm always hearing people talk about it on inflation sites, yet I haven't seen any stories or pics using that technique.

For the sake of my own curiosity and also to share knowledge on where this all came from I wanted to initiate a discussion on the history of the inflation community, accounts of major events in the community in chronological order.

As I understand it there have been three main stages of development in the community:

Stage 1, the embryonic community where a small number of people with the same interest discovered each other and set up websites, shared drawings and stories etc.
