Programme request

Hi all.

Need help searching for a TV Programme (Series) from the UK.

Circa 1993-95. It had a kid going on a quest, i believe to kill an evil wizard. To this day I keep thinking it was Richard O'Brien who played him.

Along the way the kid asks for help from characters. One of which was called "The Big Balloonie" The wizard swells her up in the final confrontation.

Any help on this, or if anyone recalls it. I think it was on CITV.
