The essence of inflation

I got to thinking and I'm curious, what do people see as the essence of inflation, or of their personal fetish, how would you go about describing it? How could you bottle it and what are those rare occasions you find that capture it.

As some of you know, I have my own Youtube channel with clips I took in my homemade inflation suit, but since summer has rolled along, I'll be taking a hiatus from making videos until I return in the fall (mainly because I'll be staying with family >< )

So while I'm away, I was curious to ask what I should return with when the next few months fly by. I still have the 12ft beach ball, but getting onto it whien its inflated is (unfortunately) next to impossible.

Yes, summer is almost here, and you know what that means -- swimming! And you know what THAT means -- drowning! Unless you have inflatable swimwear as designed by inventor/futurist/humorist/full-time-dreamer Steven Johnson.

As usual, the commenters don't get that he's joking because the internet is serious business. But I thought we'd appreciate some of the visuals.

Folson Street Fair?

Anyone going this year to the Folson Street Fair in San Francisco?  It would be the perfect place to show off inflatable gear!  An inflatable costume contingent would be awesome beyond belief!

Still on terra firma, but walking is more like ill-coordinated bounding and jumps carry one multiple feet into the air.

Pulled to tip-toes. Very little traction with the ground, but light bounces and a very slow gait are still possible.

Neutrally buoyant, feet completely off the ground, but going no higher. "Swimming" may be possible.
