It all started a few months ago. I'm a lab assistant for a chemistry professor. He leads the field in synthesizing chemicals, and integrating biological subjects with synthetic materials, among other specialties. For example he had once worked with the government in constructing counter bio-weaponry. That's why we're on this island. The professor (his name is John) and I (Gina his lab assistant and lover) were kidnapped by some terrorists and taken to some island we figured out to be in the Florida Keys.

"So should we get started right away?" Rachael asked while walking in through the door. David closed the door behind her.

"We don't have to, you can rest a bit before we start studying"

"Thanks, I had to walk here."

Derek is convinced that the old trunk he bought at an estate auction is filled with enchanted objects. He enlists the help of Kevin and his girlfriend Linda to find out how it works.

"What's the matter, you don't have the Christmas spirit?"

I'd recognize that voice anywhere.

Holly answered the phones at work. I spent most of my time down in the lab, but I'd see her every time I had to deliver a status report or a presentation on one of my projects. I'd have to pass the front desk to get to the meeting room, and she'd always deliberately make eye contact. If I was alone, we'd exchange small talk, though she'd rarely say anything if other people were around. But she'd always peek out from behind those auburn locks to give me...the look.
